Hoots, a subsidiary of Hooters of America, has chosen to improve their operations with real-time integration of their Aloha Point of Sale System to their Microsoft Dynamics GP accounting solution to streamline ease of reporting.
Hooters of America engaged with ACE Microtechnology to connect their front-end POS system (Aloha) with their back-end ERP system (Dynamics GP). This integration is critical to the financial visibility of the organization and includes daily sales data, periodic inventory movements and daily payables that originate in the storefront. After careful analysis, ACE developed a secure staging repository, automated import methods complete with notifications and error handling procedures.
Now live, this solution can not only be used for Aloha, but all restaurants that contain other front-end systems. This solution has virtually eliminated the cumbersome, manual integration processes that existed, and streamlined the consumption and integration of daily restaurant financial data.
